128i Coupe Details

The well-built and well-equipped 2012 BMW 128i Coupe is powered by a naturally aspirated 3.0-liter DOHC 24-valve inline six-cylinder engine that produces 230 hp at 6500 rpm and 200 lb-ft of torque at 2750 rpm.  This is the same high performance engine that is available in the BMW 3 Series. 

This rear-wheel-drive Coupe comes with a standard six-speed manual transmission or an optional six-speed automatic transmission.  The 128i Coupe has the same EPA rating for both the manual and automatic transmissions.  This car is expected to get 18 mpg in the city and 28 mpg on the highway.

The 2012 BMW 128i is a luxury vehicle with a lot of standard features including eight-way manual front seats, a tilt-and-telescoping steering wheel, dual-zone automatic climate control, cruise control, automatic wipers and headlights, fog lights, and a ten-speaker stereo system with HD radio, a CD player, and ability to connect to an iPod.

128i Coupe Safety

The 2012 BMW 128i Coupe is built with safety in mind.  This vehicle comes standard with BMW's Advanced Safety System that coordinates the response of the passive and active safety systems.  This vehicle also features a crash sensor that triggers the Battery Safety Terminal to unlock the car's doors, turn on the car's hazard and interior lights, and disconnect the battery from the alternator, fuel pump and starter.

This Coupe's standard safety features also include traction and stability control, front-seat side airbags, full-length side curtain airbags, a front and rear Head Protection System, automatic front-seat safety-belt pretensioners, and antilock disc brakes.
