2012 BMW ALPINA B7 Details

The 2012 ALPINA B7 has a twin-turbo 4.4-liter V8 engine that produces 500 hp and 516 lb-ft of torque.  This engine is coupled with a six-speed automatic transmission that includes steering-wheel-mounted manual shift control.  This vehicle can be purchased in short-wheelbase and long-wheelbase versions and offers a choice of standard rear-wheel-drive or optional all-wheel-drive.

 

The EPA estimated fuel economy for the rear-wheel-drive version is 14 mpg in the city, 22 mpg on the highway, and 17 mpg for combined driving.  The all-wheel-drive version is rated at 14 mpg in the city, 20 mpg on the highway, and 16 mpg for combined driving. 


The 2012 ALPINA B7 has numerous standard features including keyless ignition/entry, premium leather upholstery, a sunroof, heated and ventilated power front seats, heated rear seats, four-zone automatic climate control, and rear sunshades.  Other standard features include BMW iDrive telematics interface, a navigation system with real-time traffic,  heads-up display, a rearview camera, a 10-speaker audio system with a six-CD changer, digital music storage, satellite radio and iPod and USB input jacks, and Bluetooth.


2012 BMW ALPINA B7 Safety and Features

The 2012 ALPINA B7 has many standard safety features including stability control, traction control, four-wheel antilock brakes, emergency braking assist, emergency braking preparation, electronic brakeforce distribution, brake drying, tire pressure monitoring, front and rear head airbags, dual front side-mounted airbags, a driver and passenger head restraint whiplash protection system, and a post-collision safety system.


The 2012 ALPINA B7 includes ALPINA badging, gauges with blue backlights, and illuminated scuff plates.  This vehicle also has a selection of optional wood trims.  Spacious rear seats have optional heating, cooling, and massaging features.  The extended-wheelbase version of the ALPINA B7 increases rear seat headroom and legroom.
